Our lawn maintenance season typically runs from late March or early April through late November, depending on weather conditions. Spring cleanups begin as soon as the ground thaws, usually in mid-March. Fall cleanups extend through December as needed. Landscape design consultations and planning happen year-round, though installations are best done in spring and fall when temperatures are moderate and plants establish more easily.

We provide weekly mowing service throughout the growing season. Your crew visits the same day each week so you always know when to expect us. During periods of heavy rain or rapid growth in spring, we may adjust our schedule slightly to maintain the best results. You will receive notifications through our Jobber scheduling system before each visit.

Our standard lawn maintenance package includes mowing, string trimming along fences and beds, edging along walkways and driveways, and blowing clippings off all hard surfaces. We also monitor your lawn health throughout the season and will alert you if we notice any issues like bare spots, pest damage, or drainage concerns that may need attention.

In Maryland, the best time for core aeration and overseeding is late August through mid-October. Soil temperatures during this window are ideal for cool-season grass seed germination, and there is less weed competition than in spring. Sod gives you an instant lawn. It is pre-grown turf that we lay directly on prepared soil. You can walk on it within two to three weeks. Seed is more affordable but takes longer -- typically 8 to 12 weeks before the lawn is fully established. In the Annapolis area, we generally recommend tall fescue blends for overseeding because they tolerate Maryland's hot summers and cold winters well. For new lawns, sod is best for small to medium areas where you want immediate results, while seed works well for larger properties where budget is a factor. We offer several types of premium-grade mulch depending on your preference and landscape needs. Our most popular options include natural hardwood mulch, dyed brown mulch, and dyed black mulch. All of our mulch is sourced from reputable local suppliers and applied at the proper depth of 2 to 3 inches to retain moisture, suppress weeds, regulate soil temperature, and give your beds a clean, finished appearance. We will recommend the best option for your specific landscape during your estimate.

We use Jobber, a professional field service management platform, to handle all scheduling, invoicing, and client communication. When you become a client, you will receive access to a client portal where you can view upcoming visits, approve quotes, pay invoices online, and communicate directly with our team. You will also receive automatic text and email notifications when your crew is on the way, when the job is complete, and if there are any weather-related schedule changes.

If rain prevents us from completing your service on the scheduled day, we will automatically reschedule to the next available day, typically within 24 to 48 hours. You will receive a notification through Jobber letting you know about the change. Light rain usually does not stop us -- we make the judgment call based on whether we can deliver quality results and avoid damaging your lawn by working on overly saturated ground.

We understand that plans change. If you need to pause or cancel your service, simply reach out to us by phone, email, or through the Jobber client portal. We ask for at least one week notice for schedule changes. There are no long-term contracts -- our clients stay with us because they want to, not because they have to. Many of our clients have been with us for 5, 10, even 15 or more years.
